Dainichi (Osaka, Japan) has specialized in designing and manufacturing robust, heavy-duty lathes for over 80 years. Dainichi CNC Lathes are well known for their weight and part size capacities. The ultra-rigid, one-piece bed is engineered and constructed to prevent vibration and deformation during heavy machining.
Shimada-Kitako four spindle, vertical or horizontal lathes maximize machining flexibility by simultaneously and independently working on parts in two spindles while the other two spindles are being unloaded and reloaded. All four spindles are mounted in a large carrier drum which can be indexed in as little as two seconds, virtually eliminating part load time. All the models can be easily automated.
