SHIMADA - 6- AND 8-SPINDLE LATHES

Shimada was the first in the world to develop and produce a CNC 6-Spindle Automatic Lathe.
- Rough machining is conducted at positions with no NC slide, and finishing is conducted at the NC position.
- A processing speed that is approximately four times that of general purpose NC lathes.
- High precision processing is realized through the use of a divided structure that utilizes NC slide cutting and curvic coupling (optional).
- Max. turning diameter is 60mm (2.36").
- Collet chuck or 5 inch oil pressure chuck.
- Saves space, energy, and manpower.
- A maximum of two NC slides can be mounted.
