• Load While Machining Four spindles, generally partnered as pairs, are mounted in a vertical, square
pattern in a large carrier drum. When the carrier is indexed 180 degrees, two
spindles move in for machining as the other two spindles move out for unloading
and loading. Operation is similar to a pallet changer on a machining center.
• Unique Four-Spindle, Four-Axes Flexibility The spindles, slides and turrets in the machine zone work independently for flexibility
in part processing methods, allowing the machine to work AA/AA, AB/AB or AA/BB
operations depending on the type of job. • Ease of Loading Unrestricted access to the spindles in the loading position makes for simple
manual, robot or gantry loading.
• Dependable, Close Tolerance Performance Spindle rigidity and positioning are ensured by a large diameter, precision-toothed
curvic coupling between the carrier OD and bed ID. • Small Floor Space Requirements The small footprint is designed to save space on your shop floor.
